From an early age, I have always believed that everyone should be treated as an equal. I believe in human rights and equality for all but we live in a society in which bigotry, hatred, and racism is still alive and well. It's a sad world we live in when a group of people are denied rights that others have. I believe people should be able to be who they are, say how they feel, and practice what they believe in we a society judge others on their beliefs, morals, values, and what it is important to them.
In terms of human rights for all, I firmly believe that everyone should have the same rights as others. I don't think it's fair to deny rights to someone based on their heritage, race, beliefs, or religion. Each and everyone of us is different, unique, and beautiful in our own way and we can teach each other so much if we listened to one another instead of judging them instead. We live in a very judgemental society where you are looked upon with scorn before you even open your mouth.
The world that we live in is something that I cherish and seeing the judgemental attitudes of so many people towards others who are different is disheartening to me. I believe we are all created equal and should treat one another as so. Diversity is something that is very important to me and very important in our society because we can all learn from different perspectives, experiences, and how others see the world as it is.
Right now, the world that we live in doesn't work like it should. I believe in equality for all and I will not back down from that belief because it's something that I strongly believe in. There are different things that humans value and beliefs that they believe they have a right to have. If you're a strong believer in the 2nd Amendment which is right to carry and protect yourself from arm, I am one of those people who believes in that right. I don't think it's fair to lump people into a certain category just because others use that right for violence. I believe we all have the right to protect ourselves and I firmly believe that human rights are very important.
It's time for us to stand up and take action. Equality is something that everyone should be entitled to and I believe that we as a society need to do better.
