First, you need to understand that this is not a flaw on you. Having an Anxiety Disorder can be difficult and sometimes hard to handle. You need to take your time with recovery and it won't be an easy one, it's a hard one filled with ups and downs and it's okay to have bad days. That's all part of the struggle. Any struggle you face in life will not be easy, it be full of trials and tribulations that test you. How you react to those trials is what really matters.
Secondly, when you seek treatment for your Anxiety Disorder, you need to understand that it's going to be a long healing process. When I was first diagnosed, I went through three different medications until I finally found the one that works for me. I was diagnosed in April of 2014 and I've now reached the point of recovery. I went through a lot from being diagnosed, accepting the diagnoses, and making the steps to recovery.
Third, don't compare your journey to someone else's because that will only make it harder for yourself. We all are on different paths and each of us are a different place in our lives. What you need to do is concentrate on your recovery and healing process and focus on what you need and how you're going to get better and make the steps towards a healthier, happier, and more productive life. It's not easy, but you can do it.
